Neat colors, really like the sharpness and DOF you achieved here. Placing the Katydid in the top third of the frame works very well. Great shot Butch.

The colors are good. I think the mid section of the insect is a tad sharper than the head or the hind legs.

Hey Randy. Great to see you posting here!

This was taken with a 105mm macro lens at F/9, 1/250 sec, ISO 800. I would have loved to get more DOF but had to keep the speed up because I was hand holding this one.

The color in this shot is AWESOME! I agree with Joe about the head on the Katydid but to me it looks like the legs are OK. It just appears to me that the head is the only part that is a little less sharper or OOF than the rest. I presume a little more DOF might of helped. It's a great shot really and one I'd love to call my own as is.
