Not much really going on around here, nor have I really been out trying to go after any photo's here lately. My 5 year old came running in the house and told me to "COME QUICK DADDY!" So out the back door we went and she showed me this thing. I ran got the camera and the 100-400 macro lens to take a few shots.

Enjoy

I was happy to see you post Scott. I was beginning to worry about you.

Nice Spidey shot buddy. These garden spiders must seem like monsters to kids.

Thanks for the kind words.

Steve, I was beginning to worry about me too! It's just been a down year I guess for photography for me at least. I just haven't been able to get out as much. Nor have I had that much luck when I have gotten the chance to get out with the camera gear. I hope things do start to turn around and I can find the time to get back out there more.

Very sharp and good focus, great background too, really brings out the web.

Lovely Argiope shot. My children love these spiders. During the heart of the season they have a distinct "zipper" pattern in the center of their web but as the seasons change they become weary and get a bit sloppy with their housework. My children call them "dancing spiders" since when you lightly pluck an outside strand of the web she rocks her body (:eek:no fear, she'll stay put in the center:eek:) and causes the entire web to bounce. Show your kids, it's really neat. Thank you for sharing.
