Dock Along Brice's Creek

This is a dock at the NCWRC boat ramp along Brices Creek near New Bern, NC. Brices Creek features a Canoe and Kayak trail with several launch points along the way.

I also played with a few reflection shots. The first one employs a technique I saw mentioned on the CNPA sight... basically pulling the clarity slider to the negative side in ACR. It's kind of an interesting result.

Love the first and third images Bob! 1st because of the lack of that bland sky.

I believe I'm with Jim on this one. The first and the third are the ones I fancy. The first has some nice reflections of the trees and dock that the second photo is missing. Also, as Jim mentioned, the first doesn't have the overcast sky in it.

The third has a nice artsy effect from your use of the clarity slider. You can do somewhat of the same thing using noise reduction too.

Thanks gentlemen. The last shot was along the lines of what I went looking for. The dock shots were after thought as I was getting ready to end the trip. And the third shot was a bit of play based on a technique mentioned on the CNPA forum.
