First I would like to introduce you to our internet based paddling club located primarily in the central part of the North and South Carolina. We are called the Catawba Cruisers. On our website is a several pages that provide information about paddling in the Carolinas.

You will also find a very good interactive site of paddling locations (developed and maintained by Mike Slater a Catawba Cruiser)

I love that site Randy.

I especially like the second link that you posted that shows all the paddling routes in the NC/SC border area. Very handy for the area I live in.

Definitely a good site for folks interested in kayaking in the NC/SC area. Glad your posted.

If you or some of your members know of any specific routes that are really good specifically for wildlife or scenic photography be sure to post some more and keep us informed.

Very nice, Randy. The interactive map will come in handy for me as I am a kayaking newbie. To date the only places I have paddled are Cheraw State Park and Campbell Lake, both local to me.
