Lazy Morning = Potted Plant

I'm told these grow wild in the southeast, however this one is a potted plant purchased from the garden section of a "big box store." Prairie Splendor, lit with the LCD video light, indoors.

Well, if you hadn't mentioned it, no one would have been the wiser. Very nice shot none the less.

Like your framing here. Having the colorful blurred flower in the background works nicely with your foreground subject.

Especially like that you chose to have the flower petals on the foreground overlap the background petals. If you had separated the two flowers with no touching the photo would not have been near as interesting.
