A Couple More Horse Photos

I found this little band of horses, one stallion and three mares, early into my paddle this morning. They've been hanging out on a little shoal on the sound side end of Deep Creek at the Rachel Carson Estuarine Reserve. In the past this spot was one of my best for Oyster Catchers and Willets but with the Horses being there so much the birds have picked other, more difficult to reach spots lately. Canon 40D, Sigma 50-500mm, hand-held from the kayak.

Very cool you were able to get so much depth of field, even while hand holding. This almost, heck maybe it does, have landscape quality depth of field.
