Thought I would practice linking photos from another website. Make sure I understand how to do it. Many of you have already seen these.

I grew up near Cades Cove (maybe an hour away) and always took if for granted. Now I know what a special place it is, though it gets very crowded.

I think these are a good representation of the wildlife at Cades Cove

where is the drool smilie? I need one for that Turkey shot! LOVE LOVE LOVE that shot Joe. They are all very good images. I even really LOVE that bear shot.

I love the shots, especially the whitetail mid jump and the turkey and the bear, and you can't forget the IB with a great background.

Really nice series showing the wildlife at Cades Cove. (Agree - a very special place.) Love the deer and Turkey. I saw tons of turkey on my last trip but they were all heads down and feeding. What time of year what that? Were these taken on different trips?

really nice series of shots. I am new to this forum and am browsing looking for photos from the Smokies. I live in Maryville, about 45 minutes from the cove. I know what you mean about not really appreciating the beauty of it until I was all grown up. I photograph in the cove 1-2 times weekly. There is always something new and wonderful to see. Again great shots!

Both the deer and the tom are 3 dimensional! The bunting and bear are super-sharp with wonderful color. Wonderful series!!

A great series of shots. I was in Cades Cove this past weekend. It was great until around 9:30 when the crowds started moving in.
