A few American Oystercatchers. The first is my most common angle, they can be frustrating.

Wow, that last one has really nice feather detail and texture. The wings look awesome. I wish the bird was just slightly turned more perpendicular to the camera though.

I just don't know what to say Steve! I think you paid the birds off in June not to perform well for me. :D

Great pics, Steve. Super details captured in the birds. Bird postion in 2 is great but I love #3 - with wing just over the water the little swell under the bird.
