How about a horsefly in-flight? Not as sharp as I would like but still...

Sigma 105mm macro, full frame, hand-held :) The little bugger kept coming back to the same spot so I snapped a few shots. This was the best of the bunch.

Yeah, like you said, not too sharp, but the fact that you got an insect in flight is amazing to me. I don't think I would even attempt it.

Actually after just looking at it again, it is decently sharp.

wow thats pretty cool as many bees as i have tried to catch like that i'm amazed. really like the way its positoned also not like your looking down on it. cool stuff
