This is probably the last of Maine...but had to share these - I love boats and the water. So here are a few from the Maine coast. Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Whoa Deede, what a productive trip you had. You got some good stuff.
My favs ....
1st image - I love that you captured the boats and the hill of houses. The whole image has a quaint/relaxed feel to it ... like a place you might want to live. I also like the moody clouds you have in the sky.
2nd image - Love that pink sky and water, beautiful tones and great reflections.
5th image - the buoys with the netting is fun and artsy.
6th image - What a setup! ... A lighthouse on a hill reflected in a small pool in the foreground. The lines of the rock strata are killer here. Great texture in those rocks. You do have some blocked up shadows, but this scene is so awesome I don't think it matters. I love this image.
8th image - the old guide boat. You have shadows in all the right places. This image has wonderful reflections, wonderful water texture, and you positioned the boat in the frame perfectly. I love the lighting in this photograph. Really good work.
They all look like postcard material to me. I'm impressed.

Deede...great stuff! But I have to ask... where did the sunlight come from???? :)
We had good sunlight the last day and a half but had too much driving to make it work out well. Stonnigton was one of our favorite little ports too. I have to go back sometime soon and this time I hope the weather holds out for us. I was so dissapointed with the weather that I just really started going through my photos today. You seem to have caught more places with good light than we did. Nice job!

Thanks Steve and sorry I am just getting around to replying. We were drenched for alot of it. I have a lot of wet, gray pictures too. It pretty much rained all through Acadia until we got to Stonington - off and on rain that morning then the clouds broke and I finally got a shot. We did have better weather after that as we headed back to Portland - I think you were headed the opposite direction. Except for the buoys, all of these were taken on the way back. We just got lucky.
