Mirror Image retriever

My favorite dog photo of everything I have ever taken. Smooth as glass water allowed for a near perfect mirror image for me of "Coot" making a retrieve.

I agree, that is a fine photograph. Besides the cool reflection, I also like how you froze the water pushed up just in front of the dog. That's a neat effect.

Don- I am actually working on a mat and frame job for it.... I am afraid I am not that creative. This photo was used in an advertisement in DU magazine, so, I thought it would be neat to cut the page out, and put the ad, and the actual photo in the same frame..... but I am having a hard time making them both look right. Maybe time to send it to someone who actually knows what they are doing!

Awesome shot! There are so many wonderful elements here. Pat yourself on the back... and give "Coot" a big hug! Because it wouldn't be quite as good a shot if Coot wasn't a beautiful dog!

Thanks Frankie! Thanks all. Coot really is a great looking dog. Makes it so much easier to photograph, and I swear he knows when the camera is out. He can be a meathead, but he is a loveable meathead. Ol boy is starting to get gray in the muzzle now though. I keep telling him he is "distinguished." :)
