Randy, very nice series . I like them all and that first one could be on the cover of Outdoor Life or Field & Stream .

I really like how the subject is positioned within the frame of the last image (3rd). I also like the action in the image. If that buck could've just looked a little to the right as he was bolting away ...

The frost is a wonderful additional element for all three of these photographs. Adds a little zing and fits the season.

Congrats. I like the third one the best. How early were you? Looks like pre sunrise. The heavy frost looks great- makes me cold looking at it.

Thanks to all for the nice comments

It was appox 3/4 through the loop on my first pass. I would say appox. 45 minutes after legal sunrise. Remember the cove loop opens at sunrise.

That's some awesome frost! I would love to be able to photograph deer in conditions like that. You are fortunate indeed. Nice work!!!
