I am not really into these resolutions but for 2012 I really need to take extra time and practice on my flash photography. My speed light sits in my bag far more than it needs to.

Anyone elso?

I hope that 2012 brings everyone happiness and joy. :):):)

Work on landscapes, flowers, and abstracts. That would be mine for the new year. I originally photographed mainly birds, but I've almost lost interest in birds. So now I want to make up for what I neglected to do from the start.

I sold all the old gear to make room for new gear and then went broke when the wife got sick. Kept one body and 3 lenses...but that is what I shot for so long anyhow...so I just want to make the best of what I have and force myself to improve on my technique. I find so many times that I get rushed and don't think the shot through or don't pay attention to old camera settings that end up messing up the shot...so this year I am going to pay attention and be set for the shot when it happens.

In General! Same as always and that's "Quit Smoking", "Loose weight", Join the Y with my wife and get into better shape all around! I'm 58 going on 80!!!!!

Oh and Yes!!!!! Start Fly Fishing again; a love and a passion that I have had for years and have neglected over the past three............

As far as photography, I want to get more birds that I don't have! Stop overlooking the fantastic historical areas near my home and document them. Shoot more flora and macro with Elmer.

Finish my Delaware article for WLS and begin on the Upper Texas Coast and The Creole Trail in Louisiana...

And finally get more of you morons to write, photograph and contribute to our fantastic Journal on here! The pay sucks but you do get some recognition from a lot of readers on this site. If you photograph it and write the article or a narrative, Joe or I will put it together, make it look pretty and make you look like a pro! We have a lot of talented folks on here so be creative, have fun and share a story or two.....

Just to get back to photography... Have taken less than 100 photos in the past year (including family stuff)... If memory cards can rust surely mine have by now!
