This scene was just awesome and I wish I could have gotten closer to the Eagle but as you can see there was really no way to approach it without being closely watched and you know it would have flown the coop. What was so appealing to me about this was the lighting. I hope I did it some justice. The whites on the bird are blown but I don't know if at this distance if you could meter it so that you could avoid it.

I think that not being able to get close to this guy, made you think outside the box. I like it. The comp is interesting, but works for me. Nice job.

The framing is just right in my book. A little closer would have been even better, though I understand you were as close as possible. My guess is Lake Marion or Lake Moultrie for this shot
