A few friends and I made a quick day trip up to Cades Cove yesterday. It was a long day, but great fun and the temps were amazing compared to the brutal heat I am used to.
Here's a HDR of Sparks Lane inside Cades Cove. I pushed it a little with the HDR software, but I like how it came out.

I'm so glad you posted this here. I know Joe will really appreciate this image.

I do like this shot and it brings back memories. Many of these trees down the side of Sparks Lane at this section are wild cherry trees and should be having ripe fruit about now or maybe in another week. I have taken many black bear images with the bear up in those trees (not always good shots I might add). I assume the creek crossing is right there in the background.

Sounds like you know your cove, Joe! It would be cool to meet some of you SC & NC boys up there sometime for a shoot!

I had planned to go up there at this very time... I mean this weekend. But it's not working out because of work. I hate having to make money so I can eat. :-)
