Other... A Day with Mom (Red Fox Vixen & Kit)

It's funny, but the Vixen will take one kit at a time out for a day of learning to hunt and to experience new surroundings! I found these two on the road just below the Raymond Pool. They are from the den near the visitors center. I slowly got out of the vehicle and sat down very slowly and quietly next to them and started to shoot some pictures. They were more than willing to allow me ample time to enjoy their company while Mom groomed the youngster.

Those are all excellent Jim. I think I like the sharpness much better on these than the first series in your earlier post. Though the first series had a better environmental setting.

I love every one of these photos. I am way impressed. My favorite is the last.... the yawn. Way Cool. I am glad you posted these!
